What is an End-of-Service-Life (EOSL)?
End-of-Service-Life (EOSL) means that the OEM will no longer offer support or maintenance for that technology platform. The OEM will be offering new products to the marketplace to replace designated EOSL or EOL systems. What is End-of-Life (EOL)?
End-of-Life (EOL) implies that the OEM will no longer sell the hardware for that system, market, or update equipment after a certain date. The OEM continues to offer post-warranty support, but Third-Party Maintenance (TPM) is available for most OEM equipment that is EOL.
