NetApp’s FAS80X0 enterprise series runs SAN or NAS workloads with unified scale-out storage which scales to 172PB when clustered. The FAS80X0 series offers the ability to configure an All Flash FAS (AFF) or create a hybrid mix of SSD and HDD storage. The FAS80X0 series delivers significant performance over the earlier FAS series and greatly reduces latency when configured as an all-flash system. Pre-owned systems are configured and sold with the original ONTAP, protocol licenses and function licenses shipped with the system from NetApp along with a license transfer granted through NetApp to the next client.
