IBM’s DS3500 disk storage series was IBM’s affordable entry level storage offering migrating into the SAS drive technology. Drives and shelves for many of the DS3500s are available as well as Top Gun’s maintenance support allowing you to extend the use of your IBM DS3500 disk storage a little longer.
