The Dell EMC VMAX series delivers Tier 1 multi-controller, scale out architecture for business-critical enterprise environments and also offers FICON attachment alternatives for “Z” connectivity. The VMAX 10K, VMAX 20K and VMAX 40K series scale from 4 to 8 Engines supporting up to 3200 drives and are built with the EMC Virtual Matrix Architecture.

Dell EMC’s VMAX3 Tier-1 storage systems are designed for mission critical environments requiring high-end, high-availability storage. Some of the VMAX3 enhancements include an added second management control module, hybrid storage options, all flash configurations and added block and file support through embedded NAS.
