Mamie Sheen, Senior Vice President of Sales, Top Gun Technology

Joining Top Gun as the Senior Vice President of Sales, Mamie brings 19 years of executive sales leadership for meticulously solving client business problems, building co-worker teams and developing long-lasting relationships with customers and partners. She remains resolutely focused on helping our customers navigate the technology market efficiently and effectively in order to bring true costs savings as well as elegant solutions to their business problem.

Before Top Gun, Mamie ran the IBM Mainframe Business segment at Curvature Solutions. This business differentiated itself by using a cost-up pricing model to combined hardware, maintenance services, with staged deployment and leasing to creatively construct solutions for remote customers. Specialized installation teams were dispatched for staged installations with deployment aligned with budgeting years to minimize costs, while securing current technology.

Before Curvature, Mamie was a complex deal manager for Mainline Systems where she developed her skills for creating solutions that offered compelling ROI’s to her clients. Using her deep multi-platform knowledge of IBM and ISV Software, Mamie would look for software duplication across all the ISV’s while analyzing their existing contracts for reductions in software costs. In many cases, the delighted customer was presented with savings of at least 40% over their existing contracts. When you uncover savings like this and create a multi-year, multi-site support contract the savings was often measured in millions of dollars, and very big smiles.

Before Mainline, Mamie was the software coordinator for LogTec on the Qwest SLA at Wright Patterson Air Force Base Air Force Materiel Command 88th Mission Support Group. Other assignments included Y2K Readiness Team Senior Systems Analyst for the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) Y2K Training Project Manager, DSCC.

Dave Gorka, Chief Strategy Officer, Top Gun Technology

As Chief Strategy Officer to Top Gun Technology, Dave Gorka is responsible for working with Top Gun leadership to develop the marketing, the methods and the strategy that aligns our value proposition with the market opportunities.  With over 42 years of IT experience, Dave has worked on most aspects of enterprise IT lifecycle management ranging from product sourcing, product leasing, intelligent data mining and data analytics.

Dave recently retired from Curvature after 12 years as the Vice president of
Marketing and Product Marketing for Joel Owens, current CEO of Top Gun Technologies.  This role presented a unique challenge for developing algorithms that matched mean time to failure rates (MTTR) with client density and product sparing in order to meet specific service level agreements (SLAs).  The outcome was to maximize client satisfaction at the lowest cost.

For 12 years, Dave worked for Dimension Data, Cisco’s largest technology partner, to develop service leasing programs that maximized sales, margins and customer satisfaction.  The most interesting aspect of this role was the development of an XML based online ordering system to facilitate client selection, co-termination and quoting Enterprise wide Cisco Smart Net contracts.

Before Dimension Data, Dave worked for Hewlett Packard thru acquisitions, for 20 years with this most notable accomplishment being the conversion of IBM legacy languages to HP legacy languages in support of major ERP conversions for Fortune 500 customers.

Dave started his career working as an IBM CICS and DB2 programmer in support of the State of Ohio data center.
