We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is designed for a self-starter eager to learn and grow within the sales operations function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Marketing, Finance, and other teams to support sales initiatives and ensure alignment across departments.
- Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to sales processes and tools to optimize daily operations.
- Compliance and Data Governance: Ensure sales data and activities comply with company policies and data governance standards.
- Monitor and Ensure Compliance with Transition Directives: Track and verify the Transition Team’s completion of tasks and directives, ensuring that sales teams adhere to established processes and timelines during client onboarding and service transitions.
- Monitor and Track Transition Tasks: Continuously monitor and track the status of tasks assigned by the Transition Team to logistics, warehouse, L3, and Finance. Ensure all tasks progress according to the established timelines and provide regular updates to the SmartSheets transition project plan.
- Validate Sales Engine Transaction Submissions: Confirm that all details have been provided in the Sales Engine transaction submissions from sales. Contact relevant resources for missing information and validate that the information is aligned from quote to purchase order (PO).
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training is a plus.
- Experience: 1-4 years of experience in sales operations, data management, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and analyze data.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Growth Mindset: Willingness to learn and develop skills in sales operations and business analysis.
Work Conditions:
- Full-time, primarily office-based position.
- May require occasional support during peak sales activities or team meetings.
