Support Overview

Top Gun Technology offers this performance analysis service to help users of zSeries hardware better manage their processor, memory and disk during peak processing periods. A Health Check is conducted twice a year during peak processing and after the second or subsequent Health Checks, Top Gun Technology provides a Trends Analysis. We charge a fixed, annual/monthly fee to:

1. Have client provide processor, memory and disk information for review during peak processing (via SMF and RMF supplied data)
2. Provide a computer-generated report and Top Gun Technology detailed consultation to the client
3. Provide this “Health Check (as explained above)” every 6 months
4. Provide a Trends Analysis after the second or each subsequent Health Check to help the client understand the strengths or limitations of their current hardware platforms.

Knowledge Transfer

All our software support services for system z include a proper transfer of knowledge meeting with the client at the conclusion of each project or service. Our clients have appreciated this value-add service.
