IBM pSeries Product Manager/Broker/Trader

At this time, we are seeking an experienced and proven pSeries broker/trader that has bought and sold pSeries (and/or iSeries) servers in the retail market and the worldwide wholesale marketplace. The ideal candidate will have the technical expertise necessary to support the client needs of our retail sales team and have a proven track record of not less than $10k/month in net margin.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Have existing relationships with worldwide resellers, leasing companies and IT outsourcers
  • Have existing relationships with not less than 50 end-user data center clients in the U.S.
  • Client-focused, client-driven
  • Thorough understanding of MS Office tools: Excel, Word and Outlook

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Located in the Twin Cities (not vital, but very helpful)
  • Experience in training sales teams
  • Strong desire to grow a new business segment into a significant division
  • Proven ability to work independently, with willingness to document daily activities, struggles and successes
  • Previous experience in working with prospect/client database systems (i.e. ACT!, Goldmine, etc.)

Account Executives

We are continually looking for qualified sales professionals to add to our account executive team. For this position, we have minimum qualifications for which we will consider a candidate and we also have ideal qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One year with telesales experience (business done by phone) making over 100 calls per day
  • Propensity to quickly learn technology by self-guided research and reading industry literature
  • No fear of rejection
  • Client-focused, client-driven
  • Thorough understanding of MS Office tools: Excel, Word and Outlook

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Four or more years selling hardware or hardware services to Fortune 1000 data center audience
  • Proven track record of building 10+ new IT clients per year
  • An existing client base that is able to buy hardware/services from Top Gun Technology
  • Proven ability to work independently, with willingness to document daily activities, struggles and successes
  • Previous experience in working with prospect/client database systems (i.e. ACT!, Goldmine, etc.)
  • Ability to work from Prior Lake headquarters or set up a home office with minimal distractions
